Todd & Patty

Patty & Todd have lived in México for many years and have adopted the Mexican culture as their own.

They truly enjoy living in México and know how to throw a great party, especially if it’s their wedding day.

When they first started planning their wedding they made two things clear: 1.- Their 4 dogs were attending the wedding as part of the family. 2.- They wanted a real Mexican wedding, which meant a mariachi band playing at their Catholic ceremony, centerpieces with fresh flowers in vibrant colors, “maracas” on each guest’s seat, accessories to make the dancing time more enjoyable (plastic glasses, hats, masks, neon bracelets, etc). They also wanted the traditional “chilaquiles and birria” dish, to be served as a mid-night snack and, of course, lots of fun to take them through the night and onto the next day.

Their ceremony was held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, and their reception was at Villa Mandarinas. Guests were welcomed with cold coronas and delicious cucumber and tamarind margaritas powdered with tajín chile; as well as a fresh ceviche bar and exquisite hors d’oeuvres, followed by an outstanding four course dinner.

This fun Mexican party ended at around 5:00am, with almost half of the guest in the pool!

Patty and Todd, we truly enjoyed planning your wedding. Seeing you and your guests have a lot of fun on you special day makes us feel complete. Congratulations on your new life as husband and wife. We will never forget this amazing wedding and how fun it was to work with you!
