Last week we had the chance to be part of a very special event that took place at Hacienda Isla Capitan, located in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit. This awesome venue provides their guests with an unforgettable vacation experience.
The venue offers a cleverly designed layout, featuring beautiful separate sections. The design of this space is ideal for an intimate wedding celebration (we suggest not more than 80 guests). One becomes dazzled instantly; different sections include a garden with a view to the onsite estuary, to an open dining area with stonewalls and a fireplace adorned with both, classic and eclectic Mexican decor. The hacienda also makes use of different pops of color in each of their uniquely decorated rooms. There is no doubt we became instantly inspired by this magical Hacienda to create this stunning wedding setup.
Beautiful garden ceremony with floral installation
A little more about this adorable couple… Jessica & Josh met in the most unexpected way, while Jessica was working as a second photographer at Josh’s dad’s wedding. The moment he saw her he knew there was something special and that he needed to get to know her a little more, so by the cocktail hour, he offered her a bottle of water wrapped in a napkin with his name and phone number written on it. The next day, they went out on a date…and the rest is history.
Inspired by the essence of this villa in Riviera Nayarit and the love of this young and gorgeous couple, we went for a Contemporary Mexican Concept full of color; this is made evident throughout the table linen selections and floral decorations, up to the beautiful greenery installation we setup for the ceremony.

The gorgeous tablescape was created with an eclectic mix of vintage and contemporary Mexican elements. We made use of rustic wooden tables contrasted with the softness of lace runners, combined with antique brass candlesticks, green clay charger plates and engraved colored glassware; all enhanced by a feast of floral colors and charming string lights.

We created personalized “Mr & Mrs” wooden signs for the couple’s chairs, which we adorned with colorful floral decor.

Hacienda Isla Capitan, along with its perfect array of sceneries, from the fireplace, to the pool, and the estuary sights; to the vibrant colored walls contrasted with the neutral stone colors, helped create a magical space that allowed Jessica & Josh’s love to shine at its best.
