This adorable couple from California decided to go out on an adventure and went with a destination wedding, despite their 180+ guests list.
Even though Carla was born and raised in the US, she has always felt proud of her Mexican roots and had forever dreamed of a Puerto Vallarta wedding.
Rafael was born and raised in México City; however, he has worked for an important company, in the US, for many years.
They both knew that they wanted to have a Puerto Vallarta destination wedding from the beginning, so they reserved a room block at the Hard Rock all-inclusive hotel in Nuevo Vallarta as soon as they got engaged.
Their inspiring ceremony was held at our Lady of Refuge parish and presided by three priests, close friends of her conservative family.
The couple traveled in first class from the hotel, to the church and back, in a classic rental car driven by a chauffeur.
The reception took place at the ocean-front garden of the Hard Rock Hotel. Guests enjoyed cocktails while mariachis played happy songs and a Mexican ballet dazzled guests with an extraordinary performance.
Romantic vintage centerpieces with burlap details, lanterns with candles, tall and elegant white lilies adorned the reception.
Entertainment was a top priority for Carla and Rafael. The couple and their guests kept dancing and having fun along with the Kassiano Smith’s show during this lovely evening. The reception was followed by an after party in a ballroom, where they finalized their unforgettable wedding in México.
Shortly after we started planning this wedding, we felt a special connection with Carla and Rafa. More than working for them, it felt like the beginning and development of a lasting friendship. Carla and Rafa, you will forever hold a special place in our hearts!
